HTC Thunderbolt Vs Droid Bionic

With last week’s release of the Motorola Android Bionic, Verizon Wireless gained a fresh (and much anticipated) superphone that takes advantage of the carrier’s quick 4G LTE network. This Some.3-inch, dual-core powerhouse took its sweet time showing up, though many have already deemed it well worth the wait. But could be the Bionic the ‘droid you’re looking for? Your HTC Thunderbolt 4G made a big splash earlier this year, supplying fast speeds plus a roomy display. Equally phones have a higher than average price tag ($299 for your Bionic, $249 for the Thunderbolt), but both can be had for less than your sticker price if you’re a savvy shopper. If speed and price are equivalent, which should you choose, the Bionic or Thunderbolt? Let’s examine every phone’s strengths and weaknesses in 6 key categories: Style, Display, Performance & Life of the battery, Software & UI, Contact & Audio Quality, Camera, and Expansion.

To be sure that the Bionic’s holdability/comfort factor can be high, I don’t rate it above the Thunderbolt’s.

Having them at the same time, you can tell that the Thunderbolt is slightly heavier, however with a difference of merely 0.2 ounces (5.8 vs 5.6) it’s not really dramatic. They’re both reasonably big phones, consequently neither is going to move in your pocket.
